Beauty Therapy

The Beauty Therapy and Nail Technology course is developed in alignment with

TVET/CDACC and NITA standards to ensure competency-based training and nationally

recognized skills certification. The course emphasizes practical skills, occupational

safety, professionalism, and client care as required by the national training framework.

The Beauty Therapy component equips learners with essential competencies in

makeup application, facial and skin care treatments, hair removal techniques, and body

massage. Training focuses on skin analysis, product selection, hygiene and sanitation,

health and safety practices, and effective client consultation in line with industry

requirements.

The Beauty Therapy course is structured into modules, with each module lasting six(6) months. This

modular approach allows learners to gain focused, hands-on skills in specific areas of beauty therapy

within a short period. Students can complete individual modules independently or progress through

multiple modules depending on their learning goals.

5.CERTIFICATION

Upon successful completion of a course, trainees are awarded an internal certificate from the institution,

confirming that they have completed the required training and met the internal assessment standards.

In addition, learners are eligible to sit for external certification through recognized examination bodies

such as TVET/CDACC and NITA. External certification provides nationally recognized qualifications that
