Expanding Access to Quality Training
Throughout 2023, the college saw an increase in student enrollment, reflecting growing confidence in the relevance and quality of our programs. From Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy to Pastry, Tailoring and Garment Design, Electrical Installation, and Computer Studies, each course was designed to meet the demands of a changing job market.
We also introduced more practical sessions and field attachments, ensuring our learners gain industry-ready experience. Many of our graduates secured internships and job placements in local businesses and companies—proof that skills gained at KTVTC truly open doors.
Empowering Young Entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurship remained a central theme of 2023. In partnership with Kenswed Start-up Accelerator Program (STAP), our students and alumni were equipped with business development knowledge, learning how to turn their passions into profitable ventures. Through workshops, mentorship sessions, and access to start-up funding, several youth-led businesses were launched and supported to scale.
Championing Gender Inclusion
KTVTC continues to be a safe and inclusive space for young women to thrive. Our Girl Empowerment Program gave young mothers and girls from vulnerable backgrounds the chance to restart their education journey through skill-based courses. These young women not only gained technical competence but also rebuilt their confidence and independence.
Partnerships and Community Engagement
Collaboration remained at the heart of our success in 2023. We strengthened partnerships with local industries, community organizations, and international partners to enhance training quality and create more opportunities for our students.
